Plan B? Not for me.
The number one question people ask me on the road: ”What made you choose to become a singer/songwriter?” In these scenarios I could easily pull any reply out of my giant bugs bunny top hat - but I always choose to be honest - “Because there is no other option.” That doesn’t mean I couldn’t be anything else - I’m pretty stubborn and relentless. If I...
NY, Part Deux.
After some well needed two days of rest, I picked up a bagel and coffee and headed for Central Park - the weather was lovely and I intended on soaking in as much of New York as I could. This was, after all, to be my last night in NY. After a stroll in the park, we walked all the way from the park to the Lower East Side - found a coffee shop with some free wifi and I settled in for a cup of joe...
Goodbye, PA! How YOU doin', NY?
After I said goodbye to Abington, we dropped the car off and caught the Greyhound to NEW YORK CITY, BABY!! I’ve never transitioned states via bus - so this was bound to be interesting…
I kinda dug it. Besides the ‘no bathrooms’ thing (if you know me, you’ll know that I have a bladder the size of an infant…and there’s something about knowing you...
Two Days in a Blurrrr.
Has it already been two days since my last post?
I feel like I’ve lived a million years. This is what it feels like to be a time fighter.
So where did I leave off…Harrisburg.
After a wonderful stay in Harrisburg, I left on Wednesday and avoided the flooding that happened later on that night and made my way to Penn State Brandywine. I was in for quite the day - lots of traveling....
University + Chocolate = HAPPINESS
I woke up this morning and said my goodbyes to Scranton. We had a blast, didn’t we? But I had a place to be - Harrisburg, to be exact. I made it to Harrisburg in the AM - picked up a few bagels and coffee and I sat down in the cafe to work on my set. After a few cups of joe, it was full speed ahead to Penn State Harrisburg!
Yeah, it was raining. But it’s a pretty beautiful...
Scranton, PA
Scranton, bitches!!
Okay, it sounds a lot better coming from Snookie’s piehole. But I tried.
Scranton, bitches!!
After landing in Scranton yesterday, I made my way around town - first stop was The Banshee for a meet and greet (which was totally awesome, by the way. I met a lot of cool promoters, managers, bookers and MANY awesome fellow musicians), next stop Scranton U; then to the...
Warrior vs. Worrier
At the eve of my next leg out across the country, I have many thoughts racing thru my freakishly small head (sans hair). If we’ve never met before, lemme bring you in on a little secret - I’m a worrier. Not warrior…but worrier. I mean, I can be a warrior at times - like when someone hurts the people I love…or when someone tries to steal my chocolate cake or leftovers...
